Pocket Network Joins Evmos To Provide Builders With Crucial RPC Node Infrastructure

We are excited to announce a partnership with Pocket Network to provide Evmos developers with essential decentralized node infrastructure to deploy their decentralized applications on the first EVM-compatible Cosmos blockchain.

About Pocket Network

Pocket Network is an RPC relay protocol that incentivizes Full-Node operators to provide accurate data and abundant bandwidth to decentralized applications. More than 20 blockchains, including Ethereum, Polygon, Solana and Harmony utilize Pocket Network’s decentralized infrastructure. Pocket Network is already processing billions of relays every month, with over 13,000 nodes running on the network spread globally.

Providing Crucial Infrastructure For Evmos Developers and End-Users

Our partnership with Pocket Network will provide crucial RPC node infrastructure to Evmos developers and partners. Evmos builders will now have access to critical infrastructure to deploy their projects on the first EVM compatible Cosmos blockchain.

When Olympus Mons becomes available through the Pocket Network protocol, developers will be able to mint an endpoint directly from the Pocket Portal. At that time, both application end-users and developers will also be able to test out Pocket’s decentralized RPC service by using a sponsored RPC endpoint, which will be available on their public endpoints documentation page.

Developers will be able to start building with POKT on Olympus Mons (our ongoing incentivized testnet), HackAtom VI and the subsequent Evmos mainnet. Using this guide, developers can add the Evmos network in Metamask using a Pokt-powered RPC endpoint.

What is Evmos?

Evmos is an application-agnostic chain that will be interoperable with the Ethereum mainnet, EVM-compatible environments and other BFT chains via IBC, making it easy for users and developers to interact seamlessly between chains. Evmos aims to be the EVM Hub of Cosmos, making it easy for smart contracts to deploy and communicate within the Cosmos ecosystem.
